	A new luxury hotel is currently under construction in Vila Viçosa in the heart of the Alentejo region.

	The five-star Alentejo Marmoris Hotel & Spa is costing €6.5 million to build and is due for completion in September of this year.

	Facilities include 46 rooms (including 3 suites) and an extensive spa centre.
